Like the CE models the serial number is located on the neck plate on the back of the guitar. The following number determines the model: 5 or EG for the EG models, then the sequential number for that particular model. On some acoustic guitars, the serial number is on the inside of the sound hole. The serial number of an S2 Series model is located on the back of the guitar’s headstock. Unfortunately, I'm more of an acoustic guitar guy, and don't have much need for another electric. I'd love help identifying this guitar and resale value. These JV guitars became Neo-Vintage guitar with much proper price compare with original Fenders. Well, these guitars were very good even against original Fender Guitars. I'm guessing that the most of Fernandes guitars sales were by their Stratocasters in 70's and 80's.
